Why we can make this promise

Where we sail above the Arctic Circle is directly beneath the Auroral Zone, an area of consistently high Northern Lights activity. Our ship acts as a floating, mobile observatory, and moves between areas where there is a lot of cloud cover to places where there are clear skies and perfect conditions to see the aurora when it appears.

How we help you to see the aurora

All cabins and suites on our ships have a ‘Northern Lights alert’ whereby crew announce any sightings of the aurora, giving you the opportunity to look out of your window or head outside on deck to catch the phenomenon. These alerts could come at any time of the day or night, and you can switch the announcements on or off at will.
